T8 fluorescent to LED conversion kits

We have standard LED conversion kits for recessed and surface mounted T8 fluorescent lights.

Upgrading from T8 tubes to the latest LEDs can save a significant amount of energy (at least 60% savings) whilst also saving waste by reusing the existing metal bodies and louvres of the light.  Maintenance cost will be significantly reduced also as the new LEDs will last to at least 70,000 hours whereas the T8 tubes only have a 50% chance of lasting to 20,000 hours (based on Philips lamp data).

An LED conversion is the lowest possible carbon initiative you can make in a new lighting upgrade.

We have various types of kits available.  All should be checked with the available space inside the light fittings and the optics such as louvres to avoid clashes with the new product.   In some cases it may require a site visit from us to determine how best to proceed as in some cases the way the existing fitting has been designed might not lend itself to an off  the shelf solution and require some out of the box designs which we can provide.  Please email us if you need something like this:   info@silent.design
